Pinstripes in the Park

I missed Pinstripes in the Park this year, but it's still worth mentioning. For a few years now, they've held this event, and it's a lot of fun. It's sort of a cross between watching the game at the ballpark and on TV.

What to do, what to do...

My sister was "complaining" about New York during a recent visit. Her complaint? There's too much to do!

Should she go to the Guggenheim or MOMA? Should she get Yankees tickets or broadway theater tickets? A taping of SNL or Letterman? Yadda yadda. (How could she have left out the museum of sex?)

If only we could all be lucky and live in a place like Iowa. Then we wouldn't have to decide. Tip cows or tip sheep? Hang out in the Wal-Mart parking lot or in the McDonald's parking lot?

'Stache Superstitions

Giambi's growing and keeping his facial hair because he's sure it helps his luck. Can you imagine if people in most professions were as superstitious as baseball players? Like, your boss would insist you wear purple underwear for board meetings?

It's silly, but whatever works!
