A friend went to the Yankees/Mets game recently and gave me his updated commentary on Yankee Stadium information. He said he thought he'd be sad to see it go, until he got there and remembered/realized how down and out the poor place is. They're not really bothering with upkeep at this point, vendors are shutting down, etc.
I'm not sure I feel the same way, but sometimes change is a good thing.

I found an interesting post about Yankee Stadium laws at this New York law firm blog that discusses the incident with two fans fighting over a ball the other night.
